On this day, 7 January 1994, lifelong Jewish revolutionary Leah Feldman was cremated in London after dying aged approximately 94. Born around 1899 in Warsaw, Poland, she devoted her life to the self-emancipation of the working class. Feldman moved to London where she worked in clothing sweatshops in the East End, and became active in the Yiddish-speaking anarchist movement.
With the outbreak of revolution in Russia she travelled there, then moved south and joined the Revolutionary Insurrectionary Army of the Ukraine led by Nestor Makhno, preparing clothes and food for war orphans. Later in life Feldman organised anarchist groups in Palestine, raised money for the anti-Nazi resistance in Germany, and supported anti-fascists in Spain during the civil war against the forces of general Francisco Franco.
Feldman began going blind, but continued her activism and in the 1960s smuggled weapons to anarchists in Spain who were continuing underground resistance to Franco. The Catalan anarchists nicknamed her “la yaya Makhnowista” (“the Makhnovist granny”).
Feldman remained as active as her health allowed until the end, after at least eight decades of revolutionary activism.

Lying Biden: Omni Post
Biden said he’d give $2,000 stimulus checks. Instead he gave only 1400 and means tested it to be given to people making under a certain amount based on pre-Covid income.
Biden said he’d forgive student debt. Instead he backed Betsy Devos and her campaign against loan forgiveness and while he did cancel 3 billion, he allowed the national Student Debt to increase by another ~40 billion.
He said he’d he raise the minimum wage to $15. Instead, he secretly told his colleagues that he was not trying to and scapegoated the parliamentarian, someone who can be ignored and fired.
Biden said he would lower the Medicare for all eligibility and create a public option. Instead he has blocked any attempt on Medicare expansion in spite of raging pandemic.
Biden promised that he would listen to experts to defeat Covid. He meant economic experts apparently as his strategy is nearly identical to Trump in spite of Vaccines.
Speaking of which, Biden said that he would make sure no parents would get in the way of distributing the vaccine worldwide.
Instead he has coddled the patents and prevented exports of the vaccines to developing nations. This allowed Big Pharma to extort developing nations.
But I am not finished lol.
Biden said he’d cure cancer if elected. Not only he didn’t cure cancer, his sanctions have prevented cancer patients from receiving treatment.
Biden promised he’d decriminalize Marijuana and expunge the records of those convicted of the possession of the drug.
He fired his own staffer for past use after tricking them into revealing that info and has sent the ones that Trump pardoned back to Prison.
Biden promised to remove the racist mandatory minimum drug sentencing that he instilled in the first place with assistance from a segregationist.
He is expanding on Trump’s expansion of them.
Biden promise to end Trump’s racist Muslim Ban. He has continued them instead.

Biden promised to halt deportations. Instead he expanded on them, increased ICE’s funding, and doubled the amount of migrants in concentration camps.
Biden promised to end the practice of putting children in cages.
Biden just renamed them, and opened more for profit detention facilities while tripling the amount of children in cages with the added quality of denying them masks and other basic amenities like food, medicine, and clothes.
Biden promised to end family separation. He didn’t end family separation.
Biden promised to end the construction of the Border Wall. He stalled when he was perfectly capable of doing something about it and continued to seize property from families in order to continue the construction of the border wall.

Today we are talking about Tara Reade.
Tara Reade updated her story in early January to include the tidbit of Joe digitally stimulating her because, under my assumption, she didn’t initially classify the gesture as assault. Before we go into details about how rape victims, especially women, recall trauma. One particular thing about the persecution of Reade was that her claims found some truth. Her ex-husband corroborated her story in a civil divorce proceedings, years before Biden decided to run. Her mother called Larry King anonymously asking about sexual assaulting Senators and the victimizing interns and who they can come to. But one detail, I found particular is the “well” that Biden allegedly brought her to according to her interview with Katie Halper.
This story was written by the unfortunately named and late Alexander Cockburn back in 2008. He mentioned Biden sexually assaulting a staffer much in the same manner as Tara Reade. In other words, Joey Fingaz had a preferred location to get handsy with his aides. Speaking of which, the incident of the car accident Cockburn mentions is often quoted without the context that Biden was caught with a staffer.
Biden blamed the driver for his wife’s death and claimed he was drunk in order to garner sympathy and take eyes off the fact that he was caught weeks prior to sexually assaulting a staffer.
This is not me saying believe Tara. But why do you believe Joe over her when Ho Biden was already caught doing this before?

With Biden’s continued and unfettered support of police militarization and mass incarceration, I fear that continuing covering this lie only surmounts the Democrats’ five head strategy to actually want to compete with Republicans on whom backs the Blue more. This evident in Biden actively advocating in the Supreme Court that federal agents can’t be held accountable for retaliating against protected speech like what Trump had feds doing in front of Lafayette square and Portland.
But I guess the biggest failure of this administration is it’s handling of Covid. Because that is a massive failure.
Disclaimer: I believe that trying to “tech” a pandemic via vaccines, therapeutics, and testing while ignoring basic public health procedures acquiesced with incentivizing staying at home and staving off debt collectors and paying people to stay at home is optimal in dealing with a pandemic. Ignoring basic public health policy is dispensing an important layer of public health. Isolation, masks, ventilation, and good contact tracing are all very important. So don’t call me an anti-vaxxer or anti-masker.
Also that last line is very important point in the discussion of Biden’s Covid policy.
Biden’s Covid policy is tied to the administration’s concern over Biden’s approval rating. So he combines that with his insistence on continuing the vaccine only Covid policy inherited from the Trump Administration. It creates a cycle of misinformation and distrust.
So they create the fictitious boogie man that there is this cadre of devout Trump Supporters that refuse to take the vaccine while insisting that their policy isn’t the problem. Hence the myth of the pandemic of the unvaccinated is born.
This is the game Biden is playing. He won’t change his policy because doing so is admitting defeat and saying his is wrong. And white people be doing that shit. So they double down on disinformation campaigns. He is framing this that his policy would work if it weren’t for those pesky unvaccinated lepers.
The real conflict going on is between the Biden administration’s corporate-profits-first vaccine-only “get back to work” strategy and the actual public health community who have consistently been telling them to take a different approach.
They can’t keep blaming their Covid Woes on this mythical group of obstinate Y’all-Quada paint eating Trump supporters because they backed themselves in a corner and can’t admit that their policy is fucked. Biden’s mythology about the Covid pandemic is no different from Trump’s regarding the immigration policy. Just swap anti-vax with illegal immigrants taking your jobs, and we have the same shit show. And the disabled, who can’t get access to the vaccine, are both vilified and dying. It’s a problem. We know that low wage workers are unvaccinated because they don’t have healthcare or no paid time off. Or they are worried that they might lose time if they show symptoms.
Telling people to get vaccinated is good actually. The issue is that Biden is using this as a rallying cry to boost his approval rating while forcing everyone to work for their capitalist handlers no matter what. Hence why you see the administration brag about the economy.
There is also the social aspect of this policy.
Stay indoors, but you have to work in person. Wear a mask, but not that one. The expensive that isn’t widely available. Take rapid tests. Oh, but don’t because they don’t work and you can’t find them. Schedule a PCR. Oooh shucks, there are no appointments in your area.
You see that? That’s an exercise in despair. This entire pandemic response has been an exercise of them making it abundantly clear that they will sacrifice you in service to capital.
