seems like a lot of folks dont remember that christian fascists 100% see death as an appropriate “consequence” for any and all extra-marital sex. “so women with ectopic preganancies are just gonna have to die?” yes. their logic is that well, she shouldn’t have had sex if she wasn’t prepared to die. they do believe that shit.
that funny “you’ll just have to be prepared to die” vine? is from a fear mongering, hyper homophobic christian educational video about AIDS. spreading information like “deep kissing causes aids” and “condoms are morally disgusting and not an effective preventative measure against AIDS”. it wasn’t satire. they believe this shit.
drill it into your fucking head. this stuff feels funny to you because you’re an adult who knows the facts about STIs. but 30% of american adults believe this shit and are pushing it on their children. laughing at them is not and has never been enough.
they fully believe that sex outside of the christian institution of marriage (that being sex with one partner of the opposite sex to whom you are married) is a capital sin. abortion rights, queer rights, trans rights, women’s rights- they’re all under the same umbrella to these people. know your enemy.
