And many who didn’t die now have to live with permanent disability that prevents them from holding any kind of job (especially because employers are so opposed to making the work accessible).

Those who are able-bodied and still remain have left to fill the higher-paying vacancies left behind by the newly deceased/disabled.

Of course Dec 2021, January, and February of 2022 would see so many people infected even the optimistic CDC estimated 50% of the entire population in the US had caught COVID.  They also estimate between 10% to 30% of the people who catch COVID, suffer Long COVID.

So what’s 50% (½) of 10-30%? Oh, between 5-15%.  Our country is used to unemployment rates in the 2-6% and kind starts looking at policy shifts when you hit either end of that spectrum, but stacking on a massive drop in a 3 month period?

Nevermind the whole 2 years prior people have been gettiing sick. Nevermind the since March the numbers have gone up and are the 2nd highest since that atrocity spike of infection that started this year.

In 2020 & 2021 the numbers sent down in May/June/July as summer meant schools were out and people were outdoors in sunlight - however this year the numbers have only risen.  When we hit mid/late August/Sept when schools go back, it will be even more than before.

And yet no mask mandates, no vaccine mandates, they cut the mandatory sick leave for COVID.  Please stay home, please wear a mask, please avoid crowds.  They do not care if you die.
