In an interview that first aired last week, Michigan's leading Republican gubernatorial candidate, Tudor Dixon, said that a 14-year-old incest victim was the “perfect example” of her justification for a nearly total ban on abortion access in the state.

During an interview with journalist Charlie LeDuff, host of the internet talk show “No Bullshit News,” Dixon, who formerly worked in the steel industry and as founder of a “pro-America, pro-Constitution morning news program” for children, doubled down on her previous statements that she opposes abortion in all cases except when necessary to save the life of the mother.

Asked by LeDuff about a hypothetical situation in which a 14-year-old girl became pregnant as a result of sexual abuse by a family member, Dixon said, “Perfect example.” She went on, “Because I know people who are the product. A life is a life for me. That’s how it is. That is for me, that is my feeling."

“With monkeypox cases continuing to rise and spread to more countries, we now face a dual challenge: an endemic disease in Africa that has been neglected for decades, and a novel outbreak affecting marginalized communities. Governments must take this more seriously and work together internationally to bring this outbreak under control,” Golding said in a statement. “We cannot afford to keep waiting for diseases to escalate before we intervene.”

The Right To Contraception Act would create federal protections to access birth control. So why did 195 House Republicans vote against it?

Marriage equality wasn’t supposed to be one of Congress’ legislative priorities this year, but as circumstances changed, congressional Democrats scrambled to advance the Respect For Marriage Act, to codify existing protections in federal law.

The politics of contraception access has followed a similar trajectory. Up until quite recently, there didn’t appear to be much of a point to lawmakers considering legislation to ensure access to contraception. But a variety of factors led House Democrats to bring the Right to Contraception Act this morning, where, as NBC News reported, it passed.

Republicans voted against it because Republicans are a fascist disease upon the nation

And this is further proof of why it’s vital to vote Democrat so they can pass laws lie this to protect the rights and freedoms of the people against the deranged fascism of the cult of worthless brainless morons that is the Republicunt party
