All of the internet should have the option to be in dark mode. Having a white background as the only option for a website is bad. Some people who have chronic migraines just straight up cannot use these websites without consequences, and it’s something I’ve never seen anyone talk about as being an accesibility issue but it 100% is

Hey guess what? It does. 3 easy steps: step 1, use firefox. Step 2, get the addon “dark background and light text” . Step 3, turn it on and pick your colors for how dark you want it to be. I have had issues with it on less than 10 websites total in the past month or more. It is excellent, and makes the whole internet habe darkmode by default. You’re welcome. (And if you refuse because you use chrome instead, you bring the eyestrain on yourself and you deserve it. Firefox is better, die mad about it.)

Switch to Firefox!

Especially before January 2023 (four months from time of this posting), when Google Chrome will update its code for extensions, preventing ad-blockers from working properly.

Here’s an article about the Electronic Frontier Foundation’s campaign against Google over this:

Google Chrome’s upcoming crackdown on ad-blockers and other extensions still really sucks, EFF laments
