There’s this monster in Brazilian Folklore, Cuca*, an old woman-alligator that kidnaps disobedient children.
Now she’s old, toothless and the children aren’t scared of her anymore, so she has the WORST job ever.

*no relation to any other possible meaning in Spanish! :P
Cuca in the Brazilian folklore is mostly known as an old alligator witch that takes disobedient children.
