On this day, 11 April 1981 in London rumours about police brutality against a young black man, against the background of the aggressive policing Operation Swamp 81, sparked days of rioting. Brixton’s youth, both black and white, turned their anger on the police, leaving 280 injured in what would be one of the iconic urban riots of the Thatcher years. http://bit.ly/2Dc7fzs

Here’s Baldrick👑

(sorry if anything of this is weirdly written or explained. I’m just really bad at writing n stuff)

His personallity is actually really nice but he doesn’t want to show it. He mostly plays rude to scare others off. He just doesn’t want anyone around him because of things that happened in his past. (until he meets Elizabeth. Gonna explain that another day)

He’s smart but gets annoyed really easly which often leads him to say things he regrets later. He’s humorous and sassy as hell but still has a heart of gold deep down.

Also don’t give him compliments cuz he doesn’t know how to handle them. He gets flustered and kinda awkward everytime. That destroys the picture he tries to build of himself😂💕

( Baldrick means Brave)

“Precisely because the tyranny of opinion is such as to make eccentricity a reproach, it is desirable, in order to break through that tyranny, that people should be eccentric.” — John Stuart Mill, On Liberty (via philosophybits)
