“Boundless compassion for all living beings is the surest and most certain guarantee of pure moral conduct.” – Arthur Schopenhauer, On the Basis of Morality
Arrogance is, as it were, a solicitation on the part of one seeking honor for followers, whom he thinks he is entitled to treat with contempt.

This weekend I rescued a baby opossum. Super tiny, super sleepy little girl.
I had to drive an hour away to take her to the nearest wildlife rescue that was open. They seemed perfect from the moment we got there. They even said I’d get updates!
Well today they sent me my first update, and they are giving her the best care I ever could have asked for!
This is one of the few wildlife rescues in my area, and even though I’m sure they have plenty of patients, they are treating my little girl like she is their one and only!
If I have learned anything from this it’s that wildlife rescues deserve so much respect and support! I am so happy to know my little opossum is in good hands.
