Biden said he was ‘odd man out’ with Democrats on abortion in 2006
Former vice president Joe Biden is running for president of the United States, on the Democratic ticket, in 2020.
A video making the rounds this week shows Biden saying in 2006,
“I do not view abortion as a choice and a right. I think it’s always a tragedy.”
Mr. Biden made the remark in an on-camera video interview he did with the Texas Monthly’s former CEO Evan Smith (now at Texas Tribune), which CNN resurfaced on Thursday.

I think the fact that ignorant and callous people are allowed to make laws which effect others’ bodies and lives is a tragedy.
I think the simple fact that women’s healthcare and abortion are still hot button issues in the 21st Century is a tragedy.
