The Silver Coffin of Shoshenq II
These small coffins were made to keep the internal organs of the king instead of canopic jars.
They are miniature sarcophagi in the shape of the king wearing the Nemes royal headdress with a uraeus, royal cobra, on his forehead to protect him. The hands emerge from the mummy’s bandages to hold the Osiride scepters.
A vertical inscription on the body identifies the four sons of Horus, under whose protection the king’s organs were placed.

Our Hubble Space Telescope spotted this planetary nebula in the constellation of Orion. It’s really a vast orb of gas in space, with its aging star in the center… but what does it look like to you? 🤔
When stars like the Sun grow advanced in age, they expand and glow red. These so-called red giants then begin to lose their outer layers of material into space. More than half of such a star’s mass can be shed in this manner, forming a shell of surrounding gas. At the same time, the star’s core shrinks and grows hotter, emitting ultraviolet light that causes the expelled gases to glow.

Everything We Know So Far About Storm Area 51's 'Alienstock' Festival -
In the wake of Matty Roberts’ pledge to invade Area 51 — a highly-classified military base long believed to be a secret alien holding site — going massively viral over the course of the past month, the extraterrestrial enthusiast is launching an alien-themed festival dubbed Alienstock that’s intended to take place in lieu of the raid. Roberts has said that he created the original event as an “entirely satirical” meme page, but with over 2 million Facebook users “going” and another 1.5 million “interested,” he decided to refocus his efforts on an initiative that’s less likely to draw attention from the U.S. Air Force.
Alienstock is set to take place the same weekend as the original event: Sept. 20-22. Early-birds are invited to arrive on Thursday, Sept. 19, a day that will be devoted to parking and organization. The festival will officially begin on Friday, Sept. 20 and end at noon on Sunday, Sept. 22.
