churchcorporation.i get where you’re coming from, but the parishioners are in many ways victims too- they’ve being scammed by an exploitative group which uses cult-like tactics to keep them from leaving.
i’m not going to say shame never has a role in combating the mormon church, but it’s important to come from a place that prioritizes compassion for the people trapped, deceived, or scammed by the church, since in many ways they’re the people being victimized most directly by it.
