TBT: That time 26 years ago when Toronto Anti-Racist Action stormed the house of notorious neo-nazi propagandist Gary Schipper.
Not discussed in the article: that night, Heritage Front boneheads, led by white supremacist Wolfgang Droege, showed up at a known ARA hangout seeking revenge and armed with baseball bats and tire irons. The anti-racists in the bar at the time quickly grabbed some bottles and in the ensuing melee Droege had his jaw broken before he and his goons were arrested by police, while the ARA members slipped out the back door of the bar.
